Ticketing Consultant

Job Description:
•Be part of a multi-lingual Ticketing operation (supporting UK & Germany)
•Ensure tickets for lastminute.com customers in the UK & Germany are issued in a timely manner
•Support all front line contact centre consultants with customer issues relating to ticketing
•Act as the liaison with ticketing agents and suppliers when required to resolve customer issues
•Ensure the correct financial reconciliation of the ticketing process

Requirements:
•A minimum of one year’s continuous full time experience within the last three years in airline ticketing, reservations, fare quotation and construction. This experience must have been acquired with any of the following entities:
-an IATA, ATA or ATAC Member Airline, or other international scheduled airline, or
-an IATA or ATAC Accredited Head Office or Branch Office Location, or
-an IATAN Endorsed Agent or ARC Industry Agent.
•Comprehensive understanding and experience of GDS systems (Sabre/Amadeus)
•Knowledge of issuing tickets from at least 50 airline net contracts and good product knowledge.
•Fluency in English
•Knowledge of German would be an asset
•Customer orientation and passion for delivering service excellence
•Excellent communication and problem solving skills
•Ability to work pro-actively as part of a team
•Ability to work to tight deadlines with a positive can-do attitude
•Outgoing personality
